If they could just keep this style and material forever, I would be so grateful! This is by far my favorite little jacket I have ever owned. I have 2. They are worth every penny I spent on them. I have been wearing the Allproof Stretch for a year and a half nearly every day. This jacket is so universal! you can layer under it and over it if need be. I live in the PNW so it gets rained on a lot... camping, runs, walks, hikes, gardening, sports games, winter, spring, summer, and fall :) The hood stays on and the lip on the front of the hood does a pretty good job keeping the drizzle off my glasses. It kept my upper body 100% dry in Southern Florida June downpour as well, so his jacket has been through it all. If you cant find this at The North Face, try the Renewed store. Buy more than one. WASH ON COLD. HANG DRY THIS! And don't keep poky thinks in your pockets. If you plan to layer under with hoodies a lot, then go a size up so you can preserve the stretch through the arm pits. This is flattering in true size or a size up.

The shipping on this item was super fast! I've worn it already walking the dog in a light rain and the next day when it was chilly and really windy. I stayed warm and dry both days. I love how dry it kept me without the bulk of a raincoat. I ordered red which at first I wasn't in love with the super bright color but after walking on a gray day(esp next to the woods during hunting season, or on a dark road) I really appreciate the bright color! The pockets are really deep and cover your hands and wrists more than most coats and the hood fits snug without pulling on your neck. I am a true medium/medium tall and this fit perfect, but if you're going to wear lots of layers or bulky clothes I would order up.

Got this jacket for recent trip out west anticipating hiking. Wanted lightest weight wind and water proof jacket. I am losing weight and going from a NF size XL to L and this jacket does fit - it is a close fit stretchy material but feels good. Sleeves are great long length. Apologize for weird picture but I don’t love pictures. I am wearing it over a tank, long sleeve shirt and Nike running vest. So love it!
